Pandora

‘Pandora’ is a 7.5x7.5x7.5-inch MDF cube light sculpture with laser cut kind, compassionate and complimentary words into it, such as Beautiful, Strong and Thoughtful. At the centre is a light that casts the words blurrily onto the environment.

‘Pandora’ is a dual exploration of commentary, how people soke up negativity while leaving positivity to fade and blur. As well as global inhuman atrocities with hope shining through from positive intervention. All stemming from a rendition of the Greek myth Pandora’s Box a reflection of the evils being released on the world once the box has been opened but under the lip is a tiny bit of hope.
